Description
The AXL1 Precision Annular Saw is designed for the fine cutting of a wide range of hard or friable materials.
It is ideal for producing precise cuts and quality surface finish with minimal kerf loss. This compact saw is versatile enough to cover a wide range of applications: from cutting delicate electro-optic and semiconductor crystals to processing rare and fragile archaeological specimens.
The cutting surface is the edge of a central aperture in a very thin steel disc. The diamond coated blade is held under tension at its outer edge and provides a finer and more precise cut than conventional blades. Samples of up to 40mm (1 .62") in diameter can readily be cut. A "T-slot" design on the Feed Table enables the operator to align the Sample Holder Stand with the saw blade in any position on the axis of the "T-slot".
