New Logitech Saw for Semiconductor & Opto-Electronic applications

Logitech Ltd is launching its latest product for semiconductor and opto-electronic applications - the APD2 Precision Saw -. Supplied in either annular or peripheral configurations, the APD2 will provide research and industrial establishments with an unparalleled degree of accuracy, for a unit of this scale, in their wafering and dicing.

Applications for the APD2 vary enormously. Global growth in the use of microwave components has meant increased demand for the dicing of semiconductor wafers of up to 6" (152mm) in diameter, using materials such as gallium arsenide, germanium, indium phosphide and gallium nitride. The APD2 has been specifically designed to cater for this demand.
