Description: Summary

Exciting opportunity to join a market leading Scottish engineering company.

We have an opening for the position of Technical Sales Representative to cover the key areas of Eastern USA, Eastern Canada and parts of South America. The successful candidate will be based in Scotland, and split their time between the Logitech facility in Old Kilpatrick and in-field travel.

Job Description
  • Generate sales of Logitech equipment consistent with the budget levels for the designated sales territory.
  • Travel to existing and potential customers within the designated sales territory as necessary to further equipment sales and provide on-site customer support.
  • Carry out sales administration tasks to support sales activities and maintain customer records using CRM system.
  • Provide forecasts of potential sales on a regular basis.
  • Develop customer relationships and provide help and advice.
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, seminars and workshops as required to further the sales of logitech equipment.
Requirements
  • Prior capital equipment / technical sales experience.
  • Degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline preferred.
  • International travel capability essential.
  • Ability to communicate easily and present to groups essential.
  • Knowledge of computer packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc and good literacy skills important.
  • Good organisational skills and flexibility essential for the role.
  • Confidence, ambition and drive as well as a strong work ethic needed.
